Hi! So I showed you all of the beautiful designs from Saturday Night's show, and now I am going to show you what I wore! I teamed up with Deb Shops to show you guys some cute night out looks. First of all.....how beautiful is that sequin dress? Uhh it was pretty much love at first sight. It is actually a homecoming dress, but who cares right? Secondly, how about that quilted two piece crop top and skirt? I felt very Chanel-esque in it. Which is the closest I will get to anything Chanel right now. haha. And of course, those studded heels are the closest I will get to Valentino heels as well ;) Aaaaaand I am totally okay with faking it until I make it. I also picked up a few items at the Nordstrom Rack grand opening out in Tempe. (which by the way is huge and perfect). I have been wanting a fur vest and I just couldn't say no to that printed blazer! And lastly, my green silk/lace trimmed dress is from H&M.
"Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure--pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return."
- Luke 6:38
Okay, so I am doing these backwards since the final day is what I edited first. Whoops! Oh well. Let's just say that Saturday's show was AMAZING. There were sooo many beautiful designs, both with the emerging designers and the established designers. I honestly can't even decide who my favorite designers were.
Rayan was definitely tied for first. I completely fell in love with the shape and silhouettes of the designs. They were some of the classiest dresses / jumpsuits I have ever seen. In fact my favorite piece out of the entire show was from Rayan. It was a beautifully draped, long wrapped dress with a huge bow that perfectly blended in with the drape. Although some of the other designers had more intricate details, prints. and colors; the beauty of Rayan was it's simplicity. It was also very wearable, and perfect to stand out on any occasion.
Of course Rocky Gathercole's designs were spectacular! They had such a wow effect from the moment they stepped on the runway. For somebody who went to fashion school and had to sew......I couldn't even imagine trying to sew these garments. Every little piece was perfectly placed, and the detail that went into his work was so unreal and creative. My second favorite dress of the night was the striped midi dress with the upper lace bodice ( which is the first one in the slideshow).
Yen had some of the prettiest prints EVER, which was accentuated by all of the sparkly black details. They also had classic shapes, which really made the colors and details the main focus. Some of my favorite colors to wear together are green, black and gold; so these dresses were right up my alley.
Overall, each designer brought something different to the table. Rayan had the simplicity, Rocky Gathercole had the wow factor, and Yen had the most beautiful prints. Together, along with all of the other wonderful designers, it made for an awesome show!
My weekend was perfect! I got to experience my first ever real runway show, I finally met some fellow Arizona bloggers, and I got to see some of the most beautiful designs. Part 2 will be Thursday and Friday's looks, and Part 3 will be what I wore to the shows! So stay tuned and check back for posts!

Have you stocked up on your fall boots yet? Every year I go with the basics.....a plain black pair and a plain tan pair. This fall I am going to have some fun with my boots! Of course you can get your Stuart Wietzman boots for a hefty price tag....at around $650. BUT....let's be honest, that is way too much coming out of my bank account. This is Beauty and a BARGAIN right? So I searched for the best quality of boots for the best prices. You can always find really cute boots for the lowest end price at your usual sale shops. I stepped it up a little bit and made the budget under $100. Let me remind you that hese are supposed to last you the entire fall and winter season - wearing them almost every day. A $30 boot just doesn't have that long of a lifespan before the soles are coming apart and the color is chipping off. Don't get me wrong they are good for switching up your wardrobe, but we are looking for quality and a long lifespan in our main boots, a long enough lifespan to last you multiple seasons!
Personally, I think over the knee boots are the most flattering. Leggings look best with them, and when you have fat knees ( like me) it hides them, leaving your legs looking longer and thinner! When I was browsing through the internet, the boots that caught my eye most were from DSW. They had the same style as the crazy expensive ones, great colors and even prints, and were super affordable! Take a look and see if you were as drawn to them as I was!
